This is my insurance origin story. The joke is no one grows up wanting to be an insurance agent. I don’t buck that trend. Well, my dad, Maximo Dopazo might say otherwise. In this edition of Dopazo History, I recall my dad’s pitch (or was it mine?) to join the agency. To be fair I never had a shot at saying no. He had made masitas de puerco. (fried pork chunks) No matter who extended the olive branch, I'm just happy I’ve been able to work with my dad for over 25 years.
